Corsair 275r airflow vs 4000d airflow11/22/2023 My thoughts below:Ġ11D XL - If you are thinking about building a custom water loop this is definitely one of the easiest cases to do it in. I've not built in a Meshify or 4000d but my current case is an 011D XL and prior to that I had a Lian Li Lancool 2 Mesh (very similiar to the Meshify and 4000d). A really good case with some room to improve on small details. Overall none of these minor are detrimental to the overall quality of the case design/looks and airflow aspect. The flimsy magnetic top filter seems cool at first because it removes so easily but its got no structure and rough edges and is obviously cheaper to make compared to a plastic structured filter. So beware of that when removing the side panel. The glass side panel pops out when your removing it but doesn't rest on a bracket so if your not careful and gripping it from underneath it can easily slip down and hit the surface below. The front buttons/USB hubs on my unit were very meh and you get very limited IO, rough to use the usb ports and an obvious step down in quality from my NZXT H440 case. It's a DIY fix though not an intended solution. There's some extra mounting holes that kinda fit the tray with some bolts and washers. You can fix this by unmounting the HDD tray and putting it closer to the front. It's got cramped space to fit psu cables because the 3.5" HDD tray is mounted too close to the PSU in my opinion. Ok for most but not for anyone wanting to install many HDDs. It can only fit 2x 2.5" drives and 2x 3.5" drives. It's a cleaner build from ease of use standpoint.Ĥ000D airflow is really nice, cool and easy to maintain. I like the 4000D too I'd say even easier to build well in, the lian li doesn't tolerate mistakes with all that tempered glass you see everything. As long as you're not near thermal limits, you don't need to freak out about 65 vs 75 C and can set fan curves appropriately for noise. Temps will be higher than the other two, but this is something new builders worry about too much. It's a popular case, so it's not super unique, but it's one of my favorite cases and is easy to build well in. The o11 dynamic doesn't have those issues it does have less cpu air cooler clearance, but if you use an AIO, that doesn't matter. It's also a little smaller to build in (not tons but still) and if you overclock in it, you need more than a few fans for good airflow. It requires sfx power supplies (as opposed to normal size) and imo works better with mATX boards, especially if you want to put an AIO on the top of the case. I would not start with a lian li o11 mini for your first build.
